RF Staff Engineer

RF Staff Engineer You will develop custom RF/Microwave products for military applications.  During the development phase, will serve as the project manager responsible for coordinating all aspects of the project to meet technical, schedule, and cost goals.  Additionally, will provide system level analysis and design support for R&D Department and B&P support for Phased array and other system level products.  Duties include:Analyze and design electrical circuits, components, and subsystems to customer requirements; including computer/mathematical modeling, part/material/process selection, mechanical layout and packaging, and test plan development.Work with Technician to debug, and optimize prototype circuits and components to meet specification requirements and manufacturing producibility requirements.Conduct research and development: evaluate, develop, and document new circuit and/or design techniques.Perform routine specification analysis and component design (including creation of a drawing package) using companys' standard design practices and produce prototype hardware consistent with companys' manufacturing producibility requirements.Evaluate specifications and write proposals; provide cost estimates for projects/productsRequirements:BS in Electrical Engineering, Physics or Mathematics; MS preferred.Knowledge typically gained through 12 years of related experience.Proficiency with Microwave circuit & system design.Proficiency with Matlab, Microwave Office, HFSS or equivalent design software.Proficiency in proposal writing.Familiarity with programming concepts.Familiarity with Digital Signal Processing.Experience with cost estimating and scheduling for complex products.Superior technical knowledge in electrical engineering discipline allowing full range of technical analysis and design.Knowledge & understanding of RF & Microwave concepts, theories and practices, including test methods and test equipment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Able to work as part of a team and coordinate with other employees as required.Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the Secret level. Interested and qualified candidates please email your resume to:Dan Oliver doliver@alchemytechnical.com http://www.alchemytechnical.com/Do you know anyone who would appreciate knowing about this job?
