Job Summary

Procurement of repair and overhaul services for?aircraft components for shop requirements, contract services, consigned material and company stock.? Processes request for quotes, issues repair orders, reconciles issues and expedites all orders.???

Principal Duties and Responsibilities??

Service Levels:? Understands the expectation of achieving the level of service commitment made by the department in the procurement of repair services for shops, contracts, consigned stock or company stock.? Uses the reporting on the service commitment to maintain department?s goal requirements.

Requisition, Purchase Order and Process Duties:? As required, reviews the daily reporting on shop requirements, contract sales, consignment sales and company stock requirements to determine services needed.? Solicits quotes from approved suppliers, negotiates price and delivery for the best value to the company.? Expedites all delinquent orders and confirms they are available in a timely manner.? Processes rejections, credit returns and reconciles all invoicing issues.

?Knowledge, Skills and Abilities??Minimum of two years?purchasing experience.? Direct experience purchasing?aircraft component repair?services preferred.? Aircraft or aircraft component maintenance experience beneficial. Strong written and?verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with managers, inspectors, customer service and technical support groups. Ability to access and interpret technical information from a variety of sources such as Overhaul Manuals, Illustrated Parts Catalogs, Engineering Orders, and technical drawings. Ability to work to strict deadlines while complying with complex technical requirements, FAA regulatory requirements and?engineering requirements.? Proficient in using inventory control systems and Microsoft Office computer applications. Must have a strong work ethic, positive attitude and be committed to team effort. High School diploma required, some college beneficial
