Repair & Overhaul Engineers: (Direct Hire Position)

Needed to support fast growing APU (Auxiliary Power Unit) repair and overhaul facility.

Responsibilities:
Maintenance and evaluation of Triumph minimum build standard and customer requirements to optimize reliability and cost. Support all Customers regarding repair technology and development. Sustaining support of the Overhaul shop by leading activities for standardizing planning, improving processes, tooling and test equipment as needed to identify areas of improvement in quality, cost and turn time for APUs and Accessories.

Identify and evaluate tooling and fixtures and facilitate the design and manufacture as required.

Provide technical engineering support to all internal customers - Sales, Production, Quality, Customer Service, Materials and Purchasing.

Facilitate the continuous improvement of processes, procedures, equipment and tooling.

Identify and facilitate improvements to existing OEM manual piece part repairs on APU and Accessory product lines.

Develop, substantiate and qualify new repair processes through appropriate authority.

Perform customer field service as identified by Customer Service.

Leading role with external customers engineering issues.

Develop shop routings and process sheets for Accessories and APUs.

Assist planners, supervisors and Machine Shop with technical support.


? B.S. Degree in Engineering or equivalent engineering and technical experience) and 10 years technical experience.
? Ten years experience in manufacture or repair of gas turbine hardware.
? Experienced in following aerospace specifications and processes.
? Experience in applying statistical analysis tools.
? Proficient in Engineering
? A&P License preferred.
