SOFTWARE DESIGN ENGINEERS

Our customer base worldwide includes Fortune 500 companies defining the manufacturing future in avionics, military/aerospace, satellite communications, telecommunications, medical and life sciences, automotive/transportation, semiconductor, industrial controls and consumer products. Our staff possesses expertise in areas such as RF and microwave, optics, mechanical, high voltage, high-speed digital interfaces, and precision analog measurements.
Symtx is currently seeking candidates to fill multiple Software Development Engineering positions with a background in Software/Hardware integration located in Clinton, NJ. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the development, coding and integration of test control software for custom test system integration in the development and design of functional test systems. Responsibilities will include developing software for data acquisition, instrument control; test, measurement, and calibration algorithm development; and definition and implementation of control interfaces to hardware with experience in either power supply test and/or RF. Prefer familiarity with instrument control via GPIB, VXI, RS232 and LAN as well as experience in test applications development using LabVIEW. Job responsibilities will include software development, SW integration with HW, and customer interface.
Education/experience: BSEE and/or MSEE and 2 - 7 years of related experience in hardware based system software applications development using Labview. Prefer candidates with a HW background with power supply testing, RF, or digital testing experience. Candidates MUST be a US citizen and have a Security Clearance or the ability to obtain an interim clearance.
