CTG is currently recruiting for a savvy Software Quality Assurance Engineer for a period of 6 months to be located at our client site location.

Our client has been awarded many exciting projects by the Defense Department and the selected candidate would be working closely with some of the most influential and knowledgeable individuals in today's Defense Industry.

 

The candidate selected will be responsible for assurance, compliance, management and accountability of Software Quality Processes.

 

Additionally, the SW QA Engineer will be responsible and accountable for the following:

 

Tasks to be performed with guidance from senior Software QE as follows:

 

  -participate in software Formal Inspections

  -review and approve software documentation

  -participate in and evaluate requirements and design Formal Inspections

  -participate in and evaluate milestone reviews for requirements and design

  -witness Formal Qualification Testing (FQT)

  -review and approve Test Reports

  -evaluate Software Configuration Management processes and products

  -evaluate Software Engineering processes and products

  -perform corrective action as necessary

  -input assessment results in appropriate database

  -support assigned QE as necessary

 

ISO 9001: 2000, AS9100, CMMI, DO-178B

 

Skills required include general knowledge associated with Software Quality Engineer familiarity with Ada, C & various assembly languages, above average verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills. 

Secret clearance advantageous but not required. 

 

Compensation is commensurate with years of experience and CTG benefits are available. CTG offers three different compensation packages especially created for you unique life style.
