Satellite Ground Systems SW Engineer
We are a rapidly growing global company which is an international reference in Satellite Ground Systems SW. We have sold our Satellite Ground System SW around the world and currently have our systems installed and operating over 70 satellites of all types (GEO, LEO, MEO, HEEO, interplanetary) in four continents for a wide variety of Institutional and Commercial satellite operators, and we have another 30 satellites under development.
We are looking for Satellite Ground Systems SW Engineers with at least a B.S. in computer science, electrical/ telecommunications engineering, physics, applied/space physics, aerospace engineering, mathematics, or related field. An M.S. in any of these fields is also valued. Computer programming experience in C/C++ is a must, and knowledge of OOD and UML are valued. Knowledge of satellite ground systems SW is helpful.
We use a variety of SW technologies including OOD, UML, C/C++, Java, TCL/tk, Rational Rose, Oracle. Familiarity with SW Quality Assurance systems is a plus (we are CMMI level 3). Good communications skills, and an interest/liking to work in an international environment are essential, and the ability to speak other languages is valued (although not essential).
