Athena Technologies, Inc. is seeking versatile, energetic, and driven senior Software Engineer candidates with related engineering degrees (BS/MS), excellent analytical skills, strong design/synthesis skills, and experience with full lifecycle real time embedded software development to join our top notch staff. These are great opportunities for those who desire and enjoy hands-on development roles in addition to technical and project leadership opportunities.
Senior level candidates will possess at least six years demonstrated hands on experience in an aerospace or avionics environment performing real time embedded software systems development to include defining and documenting requirements, software design and development, programming, testing, and implementation. A strong working knowledge of C and real time operating systems is required.
We are seeking those with the desire and ability to combine strong hands on software engineering and development skills with leadership and customer interface skills. Knowledge and experience with vehicle control and algorithm development strongly preferred. Candidate will possess exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines; and a commitment to customer service, quality, and work. Positions require US Citizenship/Permanent Resident Status.
