Senior Tool Designer

Senior Tool Designer for a dynamic mid-sized aerospace company in South Seattle needed for a contract position.

This position requires a person with broad knowledge and work experience in the design and application of aerospace tooling, especially as it is applied to the manufacture of composite parts. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the use of CATIA and a solid understanding of the application of digital data in the design, manufacture, and inspection of aerospace tooling. This person must understand aerospace manufacturing techniques as well as tool manufacturing techniques.

The candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to act as a technical interface amongst a variety of functional groups both internal and external

Bachelors degree (B.S. or B.A.) or equivalent: or ten years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
