Software Engineer

Conduct C# software engineering for the JICO Support System ? a tactical data link program.  Primary duties involve the development and test of C# code to meet requirements and design specifications.  Duties also include the development of UML diagrams as well as other software documentation and artifacts and participation in reviews (including PDR, CDR, SRR, and TRR).  Candidate will participate in the SEI CMM process and support the development of artifacts.

 

Skills Desired (not included in job description):

 

BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

 

The candidate must have experience with C# and .NET, UML, and object oriented programming.  Knowledge of XML, Rational Rose tool set, and Software Engineering Institute (SEI) Capability Maturity Model (CMM) are all desirable.  Experience with software systems architecture design is desirable.

 

Experience as a programmer of tactical data links including either Link-11, Link-16 (TADIL‑B/TADIL‑J), or Link-22 is desirable.

 

Position requires that candidate either holds an active secret clearance or is capable of obtaining and holding a secret clearance.
