Sr. Government Accountant/Price & Cost Analyst

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. ' Process customer request for pricing from receipt through submittal and follow-on support to audit and negotiation.
' Prepare price estimates using input from operational departments, job records, vendor bids and labor/material invoices.
' Generate and maintain Government/Commercial customer pricing catalog and records.
' Support Contracts Organization with contract T&C and Negotiations
' Coordinate pricing development of all government proposals.
' Generate/maintain/liquidate Progress Billing records. To included collection of costs to support Progress Billings.
' EAC assist with cost collection by contract.
' Calculate Government approved rates, including analysis of un-allowable costs.
' Maintain all government inventory reconciliations.
' Prepare termination liabilities, CFSR & Other Government Related Forms.
' Prepare and Submit annual incurred cost submissions.
' Coordinate all Government Audit Activity.
' Perform Cost Impact Proposals and Accounting Changes.
' Provide location guidance on FAR, CAS & DFARS.
Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: A degree in Accounting or Finance, must have CAS, FAR and Incurred Cost Submission experience. Five to Seven years experience in pricing, estimating or accounting is desirable.

SKILLS REQUIRED: Excel, Accss Database Management & Reporting, Word, and PowerPoint. Self starter, organized, able to perform under pressure.
