Sr. Manufacturing Engineer

Provide detailed manufacturing plans and graphical instruction sheets to support the manufacture of complex precision machined parts. Responsibilities to Include: Provide estimates for non recurring costs.  Evaluate and provide solutions for problems involving manufacturing and outside processing.  Create capital acquisition request.  Coordinate with computer service center to correct computer related issues.  Provide MRB support by creating rework instructions and corrective action initiatives.  Coordinate with vendors to establish and control outside processes. Establish inter department coordination to apply concurrent engineering practices.  Apply Statistical Process Control as required. Provide SPC data upon request.  Provide instructions, advise or support for Prototype department.  Create NC programs.  Proof programs on CNC machines.

 

Education:  Bachelors Degree preferred.

 

Position Requirements:  Ten years min. as a manufacturing engineer in production of precision machined parts.  Ten years as a general, prototype, and CNC machinist is a plus.  Must have unigraphics experience.  Vericut experience helpful.
