ITT Space Systems Division (SSD)
Will be responsible for EMI/EMC design activities in the development of space based, high reliability electronic systems. Can perform analysis and flow down requirements for electromagnetic interference/compatibility (EMI/EMC)specifications to system, subsystem and circuit level. Duties required to accomplish this include specification development for electrical systems and modules and the generation of EMI/EMC control and test plans for the end item products. Must be able to work multiple programs in parallel, prioritize and plan the work, and work with other divisions and/or contractors as necessary to ensure that all program needs are met.

Other duties and requirements:
Full working knowledge of MIL-STD-461,
knowledge of space and military electrical/mechanical design techniques,
generate required documentation and reports for analyses, control plans, and test results,
support engineering validation testing in the lab,
experience with applicable test equipment, "hands-on" lab skills,
disciplined design approach. Willing/able to follow processes,
good customer interface and presentation skills,
good written and verbal communication,
able to bring short and long term assignments to closure, on schedule and within budget constraints,
support to Department Management as needed (Manpower Forecasting, budget and Capital Planning, Process Development, etc.)

Equivalent Education Level Required ' BS, with MS or Ph.D. preferred, in engineering or other scientific field.

Experience Required -- Twelve or more years engineering experience.

Knowledge Required ' Specialized knowledge in areas applicable to the division's product lines.

Knowledge is required in two or more areas of technical specialization ' An area of technical specialization is defined as systems, design and test as well as the areas of specialization typically recognized by Universities within a particular engineering curriculum.

Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a security clearance.
