ITT Space Systems Division (SSD)

Software requirements documentation, software architecture and high level design of real-time, embedded software for electro-optical space borne sensors. Additional responsibilities will include full software lifecycle activities including software coding, debugging, and testing.

Equivalent Educational Requirements - BS, with MS or Ph.D. preferred, in engineering or other scientific field.

Experience Required - Eight to twelve years engineering experience. Experience in real-time, embedded software design and software architecture. Experience with object-oriented analysis and software design is preferred. UML modeling experience in Rational Rose or Rational Rose RT preferred. Must also have experience completing full-software development projects from concept through delivery. Experience with VxWorks/Tornado development preferred. Experience with schedules, budgets, and writing work packages.

Knowledge Required - Specialized knowledge in areas applicable to the division's product lines. Knowledge is required in two or more areas of technical specialization -- An area of technical specialization is defined as systems, design and test as well as the areas of specialization typically recognized by Universities within a particular engineering curriculum.
Must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
