Structural Repair Engineer

JOB DUTIES: Design structural repairs and develop allowable damage

limits for airplane primary and secondary structure to include in the

Structural Repair Manuals. Analyze and evaluate repair concepts

for corrosion prevention, static strength, fatigue, durability, damage

tolerance, and airline/repair station ease-of-use. Coordinate in-service

structures issues affecting maintainability across BCAG and with the

airline industry.

 

JOB SKILLS: This position requires experience with metal and composite

aircraft structures, materials, manufacturing processes and repair

techniques, and airline maintenance/repair practices. It also requires

the ability to interpret drawings, material and process

specifications, and other engineering data. Candidates must be able to

write and verbally communicate in a clear and concise manner. Bachelor

of Science Degree in Engineering from ABET accredited university.
