Our client is seeking qualified system safety engineers to support the Federal Aviation Administration in modernizing the National Airspace System and in implementing a Safety Management System that meets International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) requirements under Procedures for Air Navigation Systems (PANS4444). The work involves conduct of system safety engineering analyses, such as Preliminary Hazard Analysis, System Hazard Analysis, and Operation and Support Hazard analysis.

Applicants must meet the qualifications for the following positions. Senior System Safety Engineer- Bachelor?s Degree in engineering, math, physics, or equivalent. A minimum of 10 years experience within the system safety engineering career field is required, with at least 2 years as a project manager or team lead on an aviation or aerospace safety analysis project. Mid-level System Safety Engineer. Bachelor?s degree in engineering, math or physics or a vocational or technical school certificate indicating that post-secondary school education and training in the safety engineering career field has been completed. A minimum of 5 yea rs experience within the safety engineering career field. Entry-level Safety Engineer- Bachelor?s Degree, Associates Degree as a System Safety Engineer or a vocational or technical school certificate indicating that post-secondary school education and training in the safety engineering career field has been completed. No experience within the safety engineering career field required.
