Systems Software Engineer- Avionics

Technisource is a national provider of technology services, focused on achieving the unique goals of our clients and consultants.  We are seeking an experienced Software Systems  Engineer in Grand Rapids, MI, for a long-term contract opportunity with a major avionics facility!

Job Description:
Systems Engineers
5 to 10 years of commercial aerospace experience
Knowledge of high speed data networks and computers
Experience in system verification and requirements management- Analyzing requirements and determining the method of verification.
Experience in test development and procedures-Writing test cases (a description of what is to be tested and how)
Experience in test automation (python scripting, test applications, etc.) a plus-Write test scripts and automation software for the test procedure.
Experience conducting hardware and software integration in a laboratory
Experience in authoring systems engineering documents
Develop test procedures ( a description of how the test will be conducted and what results are acceptable)
Document requirements for test equipment and test software

Integrate hardware and software components in a lab and de-bug any problems
Dry-run the test procedures and de-bug any problems
Conduct the testing and analyze the results
Document the testing traceability to design, requirements and provide artifacts for FAA certification.
 Self-starter, not afraid to ask questions
Good team-building and communication skills
MUST BE US CITIZEN OR PERMANENT RESIDENT!!
