Technical Sales

BNI designs and manufactures specialty turbomachinery for aeronautic, cryogenic, energy, national defense, space flight, and other commercial/industrial applications. Specific products include avionics coolant pumps, cryogenic pumps, waste heat powered turbine-generators; military vehicle fans, and rocket engine turbopumps. Job Description:
This is a mid level position that requires 5+ years experience in the turbomachinery or technical sales field. As a technical sales engineer you will help fulfill customer needs. You will:
- Generate leads through sales and marketing calls
- Develop lasting relationships with your accounts
- Work with the customer to fully specify their requirements
- Pre-engineer and estimate custom engineered products
- Work with engineering to refine the product offerings
- Write and present proposals to customers
- Provide follow up and close


Qualifications:
BS in mechanical engineering or other applicable major
Customer service experience
Excellent written and oral communication
Strong engineering enthusiasm and desire to learn
Interest in mechanical equipment
Willingness to travel
Results oriented and able to complete tasks on schedule and within budget
