Test Engineer

SRC Tec, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Syracuse Research Corporation, Seeks a Test Engineer with a Bachelors degree in Electronic Engineering for this start-up manufacturing organization with significant business backlog.

Selected candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of related experience, prefer 10 years in the Test Engineering field. Position will require direct floor support  and selected candidate will be the technical lead on product testing and troubleshooting for test technicins. Experience in electronic testing, trouble shooting of state-of-the-art electronic boards and assemblies. Must have working knowledge of electronic test equipment to include; Oscilloscopes, Power Meters, Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, etc. Ability to support the automation of certain types of analog, RF microwave, and digital testing. Working knowledge of the design and construction of special automated test fixtures. Experience in the technical writing of work instructions, flow tags, and the interpretation of engineering documentation. Candidate must posses good organizational skills and be a self-motivated leader requiring minimal supervision. Competent in computer skills to include Microsoft Office, and AutoCAD. Experience in programming to include C and Matlab a plus. Prefer local candidates but willing to consider relocation.
