Test Technician III

  A world-class manufacturer of RF, microwave and millimeter products for aerospace and defense applications such as Electronic Warfare (EW) and Communications, Navigation, and Identification (CNI) is seeking a Test Technician III.

 

Duties:
Performs specialized tests on antennas and radomes to ensure acceptance specifications with test procedures/ work orders with no guidance for the technical lead or test management.
Analyzes test data to ensure accuracy of test results.
Prepares necessary reports for product acceptability.
Ability to troubleshoot test equipment.
Create failure analysis reports and solutions for antenna and radome assemblies.
Knowledge of all production antenna and radome acceptance test procedures, calibration, test set-ups and assemblies.
Performs all other tasks given by test department management.

 

 

 

 

Major Responsibilities:
Performs assigned tests, which are generally standardized.
Able to operate all indoors and outdoors Test Ranges.
Follows prescribed test methods or explicit instructions from supervisor or Engineering.
Operates standard test or processing equipment.
Troubleshoots malfunctioning equipment.
Extracts and processes test data prepares necessary charts and reports.
Analyzes data to check accuracy, applicability and reasonableness of data.
 Performs routine maintenance on test equipment.
Set-ups test equipment as required.
Constructs components or subassemblies prototypes.
Calibrates equipment as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned by Manager.

 

Education requirements:
Minimum Military and/or Technical School with electronics courses
Preferred Military Advanced Electronics Training
High School degree with Associate Degree in electronics

Experience requirements:Minimum Electronics Technician Electronics 5 Years
Preferred RF Test Technician RF Electronics 7 Year
