Test and Integration Engineer

Length of Assignment:  8/2006 to 5/2008

 

Required:

Test and Integration Engineer of power electronics for the MSL project. Requires 8-10 years experience as a test engineer (CP-6). BA/BS degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline with 10+ years, or a MA/MS degree with 7+ years of work experience, or equivalent technical experience. Demonstrated knowledge of analog/digital circuit design.  Significant circuit analysis, troubleshooting, and hands-on electronics test equipment experience.  Have significant experience working in a flight electronics development environment.  Have the ability to work with minimal supervision.  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

 

Desired:

Have extensive experience in integration and testing of Engineering Model and Flight electronics hardware.  Demonstrated familiarity with many types of test support equipment including those based on LabView and Oasis software. 

 

Will:

Be Senior Subcontractor Engineer with the Power and Sensor Electronics Group responsible for leading the integration and testing of power-related electronics boards as a unit in an electronics chassis (referred as the Power and Analog Module by MSL project). Will also support the actual testing of EM/FM power electronics hardware.  Functions include generating test plans, test procedures, and any problem failure reports, leading a test support team, perform board testing and troubleshooting.  Will interface with MSL team members.
