Description

Will perform a range of atmospheric/re-entry/in-space vehicle trajectory analyses.

Will collaborate in preliminary and advanced configuration development studies and trades and will prepare portions of engineering presentations, reports, and proposals.

Develop trajectory designs, support concept iterations and trade studies, analyze constrained parameters, perform 3DOF and 6DOF simulations, perform Monte Carlo analyses, and develop visualizations/ animations of results.

Skills Needed:

Required proficiency in standard trajectory analysis codes (e.g. OTIS, POST). Must be proficient on a range of computing platforms and software including Word, Excel, Windows, STK, MATLAB, and Simulink. Control system analysis and FORTRAN coding experience is desirable.

Job Location: Seattle WA, occasional travel Qualifications

BS in Engineering (Aerospace/ Mechanical preferred), with at least five (5) years of relevant technical experience is required.

Must be United States Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident Alien.
