We have the following exciting new opportunity at Creech Air Force Base, Nevada.

OSEC is searching for a UAV/UAS Combat Effects SME to provide subject matter expertise in evaluating fielded and emerging enhancements to UAS platforms which provide mission support or directly apply lethal and non-lethal combat effects to the joint warfighter. Also responsible for mission planning and tactics, techniques and procedures related to the delivery of kinetic (Joint Munitions Effectiveness Manuals) and non-kinetic combat effects from manned and unmanned airborne systems.

Basic Qualifications:

. Minimum of 6 years combined experience in airborne systems weapon delivery, lethal and non-lethal weapons systems, or joint munitions effectiveness.
. 2 years experience with UAS operational employment
. Bachelors degree in Science or technical field or Associates degree for former enlisted military UAV operators with 2 years operational or instructional experience.
. Understanding of UAV/UAS Systems and how they interoperate.
. Understanding of UAV/UAS Common Ground Stations (CGS) and how they operate.
. Understanding of Joint Air Support and tactical aviation mission planning procedures.
. Understanding of lethal, non-lethal, kinetic, and non-kinetic weapon systems employment.
. Familiarity with ISR systems/concepts that interoperate/affect UAV/UAS weapon delivery.
. Familiarity with UAV/UAS architecture products (operational views, systems views, technical views).

Desired Qualifications:

. Prior military experience a plus.
