VP of Operations

Orion International is currently seeking Candidates for a

VP of Operations position in Miami, FL!!!

 

 

 

Job Description:

?  Initiate and maintain specifications and inspection procedures to ensure that rework and repairs pertaining to jet engines are in compliance with (FAA) regulations

?  Analyze engine MRO market trends and introduce new engine product lines or exit from existing products justified by appropriate business models

?  Drive productivity enhancements through continual improvements methods (including six sigma and lean manufacturing)

?  Develop "time-and-material" and "power-by-the-hour" Customer engine maintenance proposals

 

Requirements:

?  Requires a BS degree (or higher) in engineering, preferred Aeronautical Engineering. 

?  A minimum of 10 years of aircraft engine maintenance experience. 

?  A minimum of 5 years experience in an operational Sr. management level role in an engine MRO facility. 

?  Trained in Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing. 

?  Direct maintenance experience with JT8D and CFM 56 model engines.

 

Location:  Miami, FL

 

Compensation: $125,000, Salary is Commensurate depending on experience, training, certifications, etc.
