General

Icon is looking for an individual with recent experience in ground combat systems and tactical engagement simulation systems.  The successful candidate will have served in a military unit in a leadership position (senior non-commissioned officer) and will have experience in operational training or combat environments.  This position reports to the Engineering Manager.  Some travel required.

 

Responsibilities

 

Liaise with military end users to:

- Acquire training center user specific field information to support Icon development projects

- Provide a customer Point of Contact for any training and support issues that may arise

- Participate in field testing to support product acceptance

Assist the Engineering Staff in understanding user requirements

Support Technical Writing efforts with respect to operator and maintenance manuals

Support Logistics efforts as necessary

 

Requirements

 

Minimum Qualifications

Recent military service (within the last 3 years) with expertise in :

- Individual and Crew Served weapons

- Combat Fighting Vehicle systems

Military leadership experience (senior non-commissioned officer)

User level training of Weapons and Vehicle Systems

Experience with Multiple Integrated Laser Engagement System (MILES)

Good oral and written communication skills

Experience using Microsoft Office applications

High school diploma or equivalent

 

Desired

Master Gunner qualification

Experience as a staff member or member of a unit under training at a Combat Training Center

Experience at TRADOC, FORSCOM, or PEO-STRI

Some college coursework preferred
