Web Content Administrator

JOB DUTIES:

Coordinates the placement of editorial content, graphics, and other features on the website; Performs website editorial duties including gathering and researching information that enhances the value of the site; Seeks out customers to gather feedback for website improvement and enhancements; Works with technical writers, editors, graphic designers, and other personnel to provide up-to-date content on the site; Designs the website to support the organization/customer?s strategies and goals relative to external communications; Maintains current knowledge of relevant software applications as assigned; Participates in special projects as required. May be required to attend local meetings at the direction of the government.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

? Bachelor?s Degree in Journalism, Graphic Design, Communications or a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experience

? Requires 3-5 years of related experience in website design and/or web administration

? Requires basic understanding of web-based technologies like HTML and/or other design-related applications

? Knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in Web design

? Applicants must be able to obtain a favorable National Agency Check
