Customer Service Manager - California

My client is a well established & highly reputable Horticultural Products Company and we are seeking a real Customer Service/Logistics Professional ideally from within the Consumer Lawn and Garden retail sector who MUST POSITIVELY HAVE: * A vast knowledge base of selling to and through the Grocery and Big Box distribution channels  * A working knowledge and comprehension of merchandising perishable products (Plants, Flowers, Outdoor Garden Products etc.) and is eqully able to see things from a consumer's point of view. The Customer Service/Logistics Professional: * Acts as a problem solver and liaison between customers and various department functions, while promoting an interactive relationship with operations and sales.  * Receives and answers, within established guidelines, customer questions and complaints and ensures that the company's service mentality is maintained for both internal teams and external customers.   * Can handle the additional responsibilities, among others, including the development and maintenance of processes and procedures for the department as well as direct support to the Sales Director for any cross-functional procedures.* Is wholly responsible for and capable of monitoring accountability of the Customer Logistics Team to ensure procedures are utilized consistently and accurately, i.e., communication link, daily order call sheets, passings, pending order list, EDI, documenting credits shortage report, account for deliveries etc. This is a high priority key position in the company that will require a high level of energy, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task on a continual basis interfacing with a highly diversified group of people. The position is based in California. We offer a competitive base salary, full benefits, relocation package among other perks. Please respond directly to me IF you qualify @
