Field Supervisor / Utility Arborist

Duties

?Provide direct supervision, communication, and monitor work quality and production rates of field personnel
?Assess, coach, and support local field staff to fulfill their duties and job expectations as set forth in the Western ECI job descriptions
?Implement Western ECI?s policies and procedures as defined in the Employee Handbook
?Assess overall performance and ongoing development needs of field personnel to assist with performance reviews and facilitate Career Track Program
?Conduct Western ECI?s internal Quality Control Audits
?Oversee corrective action resulting from QAS reviews or reviews performed by the Contract Review Group

Desired Skills / Qualifications

?AS. degree in forestry (or related field)
?2 years of utility vegetation management experience (desired)
?Familiarity with utility vegetation management work practices, proper arboricultural techniques/practices, utility client?s specifications, goals, and requirements, and legal requirements related to line clearance and fire prevention.
?ISA Arborist Certification (or within 6 months)
?Supervisory experience and/or proficiency
?Proficient in common computer word processing and spreadsheet applications
?Valid drivers? license
