Garden Care Supervisor

Wisteria is a twelve person, sixteen year old company in Washington, D.C. serving a high-end residential clientele primarily in N.W., Chevy Chase, Bethesda,McLean, and Capitol Hill.

 

Position available for a Garden Care Supervisor, whose duties include managing a maintenance crew, developing and being the point of contact for clients.  This position can include some design, sales, office, and installation work if desired.

 

Two years experience in the green industry minimum.  Must have a good knowledge or perennials, and an understanding of the high-end residential market.  Must be a conscientious self-starter and be able to keep to their own schedule.  This job includes alot of communication with clients, and garden evaluation.  Degrees or certificates in landscape design, ornamental horticulture and related fields are a plus.

 

Pay of $14-$20/hour depending on experience and capability.  Salary options available to interested applicants of $28,000 to $40,000. Approximately 50 hours per week.
