Landscape Irrigation Technician Needed!

TruGreen LandCare, the leader in the commercial landscape maintenance industry, currely has a need for an landscape irrigation tech for our Huntley location.  This is an excellent opportunity for growth and advancement.

 

The Irrigation Technician successfully installs, maintains and repairs irrigation systems meeting company and industry standards for quality, efficiency and safety. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES, but not limited to:

?  Activate and deactivate irrigation systems according to seasonal priorities or pre-established schedules.

?  Repair and troubleshoot irrigation systems as required.

?  Layout and install new or renovated irrigation systems.

?  Program irrigation clocks to ensure proper watering of landscapes maintained.

?  Purchase parts required to repair irrigation systems maintaining accurate inventory and strict cost control.

?  Promote safe working conditions and proper use, care and inventory of company vehicle, equipment and tools assigned.

?  Other duties as instructed by manager.

 

QUALIFICATIONS: Associate (AA) college or university, certificate program, or 2 to 3 years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

 

Oral and written communications skills, bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, analytical skills, ability to prioritize multiple tasks and pay attention to details
