Customer Service Agents / Inside Sales Coordinator

South African Airways, an award winning premier carrier to Africa, is looking for highly motivated airline professionals to join its Fort Lauderdale Customer Call Center & Sales team in the following capacities. Customer Services Agent ? Res/Direct Sales(FT & PT Positions)

 

Duties include answering incoming calls, direct sales, dispensing flight information & fares, and assisting PAXs & travel agents w/ questions related to reservations & destination.

 

Requirements: strong sales, customer service & verbal comm. skills, an excellent dependability record, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment. Must be flexible to work a schedule which may include nights, weekends, & holidays.  Min. 2 yr travel industry/major airline experience, knowledge of South Africa destination & international fares is a plus. Inside Sales Coordinator  (FT Position)

 

Responsible for providing internal admin support to field sales team to max field sales time w/ the customer. Duties include resolving key customer inquiries, qualifying sales leads, preparation of customer performance reports & coordination of internal sales related information issues. 

 

Requirements: excellent planning & org skills; strong customer service & verbal comm. skills; an excellent dependability record, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.  Min 3 yr sales exp w/ a major airline/travel industry.  Knowledge of South Africa destination & college degree is a plus. Must have strong PC skills; MS Microsoft Office pref?d.  

 Customer Services Agent ? Group Sales(FT Position) Responsible for quoting rates for groups of 10 + booked in N. America, make decisions on pricing levels to attain the max revenue, make/amend bookings in Amadeus res. system, request and liaise w/ other airlines for group space, handle deposits for groups & update the groups database.

 

Requirements: excellent planning & org skills; strong customer service & verbal comm. skills; an excellent dependability record, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.  Min. 2 yr travel industry/airline exp, knowledge of South Africa destination is a plus. Must have strong PC skills; Microsoft Excel, Word and Access pref?d.
