Specialist Quality Assurance Data

Northwest Airlines is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Specialist Quality Assurance Data in our Safety department.  This is a full-time position located in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

 

Description

 

This position will compile and analyze quality and operations data from various sources corporate wide.  Produce clear and concise reports on a regular and as needed basis that demonstrate status of performance and services, effectiveness of policies and procedures, and provide recommended actions for improvement.  Generate reports and recommendations to assist operations management understand performance, achieve corporate goals, and improve customer service.  Also evaluate and develop new data collection methods, databases, decision making tools, and reporting methods to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

 

Qualifications

 

Minimum 4 year degree with a major in statistics or operations research, or equivalent experience in performing operational analysis.  Strong verbal and written communication skills.  Strong experience in creating/using advanced statistical, reporting, and data retrieval software.  Demonstrated capability of transforming complex data into clear concise reports and summaries.  Problem solving abilities.  Knowledge of airline station operations, procedures, and policies a plus.
