Architect - Construction Service

WCPC is a third-party, quality control inspection service for residential builders.  We have an immediate opening for an experienced field-oriented in-office architect with emphasis on peer/plan reviews.

 

This exciting position involves conducting plan reviews and working with field staff and developers  The successful candidate must be able to read plans and be knowledgeable in all aspects of single & multi family residential.

 

Other qualifications include:Detailed OrientedAbility to multi-task and establish priorities. Ability to meet tight deadlinesKnowledge of CADAbility to communicate effectively both in written format and oral presentation. Ability to maintain organization in a changing environment. Exhibits initiative, responsibility, flexibility and leadership. Possess a thorough knowledge of contract administration and office procedures. Ability to use extensive working knowledge of all paperwork procedures necessary to complete the contract documents to obtain permits and prepare for construction. Ability to use working knowledge of all consultant work to maintain efficiencies and meet deadlines. Possess and in depth understanding of the basics of most building systems. NCARB
