Architectural Intern
Job Description: Our Boston Building Programs group is looking to add an Architect Intern (non registered Architect) to their team. Responsibilities will include:
Completing architectural designs and drawings under the direction of a Senior Architect or Project Manager
Assisting the project team in the development of construction documents
Working with multiple Engineering disciplines to ensure quality control
Conducting field surveys to verify as-built conditions and code compliance
Job Requirements:
A professional degree in Architecture
2 to 4 years of experience providing designs and tenant improvements for new retail stores, retail centers and commercial projects
A working knowledge of national building codes
AutoCAD proficiency
Excellent communication skills and initiative are required
Good organization skills are required to aid in meeting deadlines on fast turn around projects
