Job DescriptionIncreases USG's overall sales and profits by developing relationships with architects, designers, owners, building code officials and general contractors.Influences customers' loyalty by establishing a reputation as an expert on both Gypsum and Interiors products by exhibiting deep product knowledge, proactive customer contact, quality presentations, prompt issue resolution, industry knowledge and networking and building strong relationships with other USG departments.Lead participation in job-tracking and job follow-up activities with local sales group. Direct pricing and relationship contact with key direct-buy ceilings contractor/s. Responsible for staying current with local projects and market trends.

Job RequirementsBachelor's Degree.AIA presenter certified.? CCPR or CDT certified.? Basic and advanced product school.? Basic and advanced sales skills class.Sales experience.? Architectural, construction and/or engineering background.? Technical expertise; hands-on expertise to answer technical questions.? Broad knowledge of codes to answer questions and make recommendations to customers about building code issues.Knowledge of computers to create presentations and track jobs.Good interpersonal, time management and presentation skills.
