AutoCad Drafter/Designer Description: Volt is currently looking for a qualified, motivated, creative and detail oriented, entry-level to High-level AutoCAD Drafter/Designer for a leading home builder in Boise, Idaho
Responsibilities include:
We are looking for motivated, architectural drafting professionals who are ready for an exciting and challenging career. As a drafting engineer you will use AutoCad for drafting residential single-family and multi-family building plans. You will work for the Engineering manager, but will be self-supervised.
Requirements:
Qualified candidates will have one to two years of architectural background, a creative talent, a technical background, strong math skills, the ability to visualize in three dimensions, a strong conceptual talent, and is a logical thinker.
A great advantage would be someone who is able to envision a complete project and who can translate ideas or concepts into drawings.
AutoCAD experience required
HVAC design experience is a plus
REVIT knowledge is a plus
Experience with the submittal of plan designs to State agencies is a plus
Need to be eager, proactive, highly self-motivated, strong willed, and aggressive
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to think technically, be extremely organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment a must
