Our CAD Plotting Technicians are responsible for plotting / printing customer files created in CAD based programs and providing unparalleled customer support by educating customers and troubleshooting problems.

At A&E - The Graphics Complex, the CAD Plotting staff processes and prints customer CAD files to black & white and color output devices.  This usually includes assisting customers with placing orders, preparing accurate workorder forms, converting non-plot files to .PLT file format, communicating errors to customers detected in work, correcting errors where possible, assisting customers in troubleshooting problems and answering customer questions related to setting up files for plotting.

The ideal candidate will be able to work fairly independently from 4pm to midnight.

QUALIFICATIONS2 year degree from or currently attending a technical school in a CAD based program learning skills related to the field; or 3 years of CAD drafting or CAD plotting experience. Proficiency in Windows environment. Ability to perform mathematical calculations to determine enlargement and reduction ratios and drawing scale. Pays close attention to detail and product quality. Has strong communication and organizational skills. Has a high level of self-initiative and motivation. Ability to process, comprehend, and follow detailed written and verbal instructions. Ability to quickly establish a strong rapport with customers. Ability to think of creative ways to give superior customer service. Demonstrates a courteous can-do attitude with customers and co-workers!
