CADD Drafter

MRO Engineers was founded in 1991 to focus on the planning and design of transportation infrastructure and site development projects for both public agencies (federal, state and local) and private clients. We are a Caltrans Certified Disadvantaged Business Enterprise, State of California and U.S. Small Business Administration Certified Small Business, and employ 25 professional and support staff in our Rocklin corporate office and our statewide construction management offices. MRO Engineers provides multi-disciplinary services including the planning, funding, design, and construction management of transportation and land/site development projects.

We have a need for a CADD Drafter with experience preparing public works transportation, land development, and site development plans. The successful candidate will be a person who enjoys being part of a team and wants to do more than draft ?red-marks.? We are looking for bright thinking drafters who want to grow with our team.

Job Responsibilities:

Produce roadway, land development, and site development plans, ensuring that high quality products are produced within the schedule that our clients require.
Training and mentoring of more junior level drafters
Job Requirements:
1+ years of drafting experience on roadway, land development, or site development projects
Proficiency in AutoCAD
Knowledge of Land Development Desktop is a plus
Occasional travel to conduct field visits
Good spelling ability
A desire for excellence
