Job Description:
The Cost Controls & Reporting Analyst (CCR) will perform program and project cost controls on a $1.5 billion interstate improvement project. This includes forecasting, monitoring, and reporting on budgets and expenditures as well as trend analysis and labor / estimate at completion (EAC) forecasting. The cost management program for this project is still evolving and the CCR Analyst will be intimately involved in its further development and implementation. The CCR analyst is pivotal in identifying potential cost issues / risks and benefits and in developing solutions and action items. This position will coordinate with Contract Managers and Discipline Leaders and respond to requests from management regarding budget and cost data and information. Additional duties include: development, management, and system maintenance of the cost management database (PRISM); production of data for monthly progress reports; regular meetings with the client, management, and team members; and coordination with consultant liaison staff for expenditure tracking. This position will also be responsible for producing the following deliverables: monthly progress report; PRISM expenditure graphs; trending and earned value management report packages; and monthly PRISM update worksheets. Candidates must have the ability to manipulate and analyze data at both a detailed level and at a high-clip executive summary level.


Job Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or equivalent required. Candidate with prior experience working with PRISM Project Manager software or other program management software preferred as well as advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Ability to work closely with all levels of management and excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills required. The candidate must be well organized, detail oriented, and possess the ability to handle multiple tasks with limited supervision. Candidates must have three to five years of experience working in a similar position.
