Summary

This position is responsible for the execution and coordination of normal business, or Churn requests, along with some large scale Design projects with the assistance of the Planner/Analyst and/or Project Manager.? A skill level in the areas of Facility Planning, CAD, Furniture and Finish resources, Color and Materials applications, as well as graphic and verbal presentations is inherent to the position.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Design Project Management:

???????? Coordinate all phases of the design process to ensure completion in a timely and accurate manner.

???????? Skills in CAD, CAP, Snaptracker, and planning.? Ability to provide organizational detail and accurate specifications based on product knowledge and expertise.

???????? Consistent updates to Planner or Project Manager on project status.

???????? Assemble team meetings with Planner, Project Manager, or Installation Supervisor whenever warranted to facilitate complete and timely communication.

???????? Thorough understanding of all? products including, but not limited to Steelcase, Knoll and Herman Miller.

???????? Present Design options to clients.

???????? Thorough understanding of?client's design capabilities to provide clear and accurate solutions for the customer.?

???????? Understanding of Planner responsibilities and ability to carry out planner tasks if necessary.

Customer Service Responsibilities:

???????? Maintenance of excellent client relationships through responsive, creative and accurate work.

???????? Follow up with furniture installations and work with Installation Supervisor to complete punch items.

Education and/or Experience

???????? Related office furniture experience preferred.

???????? Experience with AutoCAD (version 2005 experience preferred).

???????? Interior Design degree from an accredited University preferred.

???????? Proven organizational and follow-through skills required.

???????? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.

???????? Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

???????? Ability to work overtime hours as needed to support the team and meet customer expectations.

???????? Certified affiliate or professional member of IIDA helpful.
