Drafting Engineer-Cabinet Detailer

Anton Cabinetry, a custom cabinetry and millwork contractor, is looking to hire a Drafting Engineer, for our Arlington, TX office.

 

Drafting Engineer responsibilities and required abilities include:Must be proficient in Auto Cad Have knowledge of the construction of cabinets and millwork (laminate cabinets and countertops, solid surfacing, standing/running trim, wall panels, etc...) Developing shop drawings required for projects Producing production drawings, cut lists, material lists and parts Preparing drawings for production Managing production Software and Database per project Reviewing drawings for scope and correctness Assisting Project Managers will all aspects of projects

 

The successful candidate will be a solid, dependable, professional, self starter with the ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of production, Clients, and Architects.  Candidates must be computer literate, with experience with Excel, Word, Auto Cad, and Cabnetware. and be able to learn and adapt to new software.  Candidates must be completely comfortable interpreting construction drawings and specifications.

 

A degree is definitely preferred, as is knowledge of the DFW metroplex commercial market will be helpful.
