ESTIMATING MANAGER

ST. LOUIS, MO

 

Requirements: BS in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering, with a minimum 10 years experience in construction, preferably with estimating duties. Conceptual/Design estimating is essential. Must be highly computer literate with excellent communication skills. Presentation skills are also required.

 

Responsibilities: Duties include learning complex estimating software (Timberline); preparing total project estimates by interpreting design drawings and specifications; presenting and explaining estimates to in-house managers and clients. Will work with the Manager of Estimating and Operations to manage and coordinate estimating work load. Must work well with discipline engineers and utilize excellent written communication skills in the preparation of estimate bases. Some travel required.
