Interior Designers and Entry level Architect-Chicago metro north
We are seeking 4 Interior Designers and 1 Entry Level Architect with a strong interest in facility planning and contract design to work as part of our on-site teams located in Chicago?s north suburbs.
The office environment is a professional atmosphere that; is respectful, client driven, detail focused, collaborative, conscientious and team oriented. Our Teammates deliver world class solutions to our clients and need similar special individuals to join our team.
The positions require strong problem solving abilities, excellent communication and multi-tasking skills, exceptional organizational and time management skills, as well as a working knowledge of systems furniture. Candidates must be capable of handling all aspects of the planning and design process including programming, space planning, construction documentation, architectural detailing, furniture and finish selection and specification, and client interaction. Requires a background in Commercial Interior Design.
Technical Skill Requirements:Understanding of basic codes and issues involved in space planning. Knowledge and ability to prepare and present planning solutions utilizing corporate standards and construction drawings and architectural detailing. Ability to assess products and materials and make sound selection decisions. Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
