Intermediate Level Facility Planner

HOK has an immediate need for an intermediate facility planner to be co-located with a client in Santa Clara, California.  The successful candidate must have strong problem solving-skills and be capable of working with senior level client representatives. 

 

Responsibilities will include:

 

Serving as primary on site contact with client for all workplace planning services.

Providing planning review platform for other real estate team members.

Providing conflict resolution/negotiation locally with Business Units as required.

Maintaining awareness of local campus business character and evolutionary needs.

Ensuring occupancy information is updated and accurate (data / cad).

Developing occupancy plans in line with Client Occupancy Strategy.

Identifying and initiating occupancy related projects, including estimates and budgets.

Timely, accurate and cost effective planning management of moves, adds and changes (MAC?s) and Occupancy Projects.

 

Candidate qualifications include:

 

A higher education degree in engineering, architecture or interior design.

Five years of experience.

Strong communication and people skills.

Experience with standard computer applications such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

Experience with AutoCad.

In-depth understanding of local legacy/master plans, as well as cultural/legal requirements.
