Lead Draftsman

Summary: Responsible for coordinating the timely processing of drawings and bills of material as they relate to quotes and orders in engineering. Responsible for monitoring the performance of the drafting personnel.

Accountabilities: Coordinate the processing of drawings and bills of material related to quotes and orders in a timely manner.

Enforce standard policies and procedures. Assure that drafting practices meet company and industry standards and are properly implemented.

Train new drafting personnel regarding company and engineering department policies.

Monitor the performance of drafting personnel & provide guidance to maximize efficiency.
