We are currently seeking the following professionals to join our team:



MACHINIST



These highly skilled and motivated technicians perform manual and CNC machinist operations in some of the most unique locations in our universe. Machinists fabricate new equipment and repair damaged equipment, providing our guests with a safe and enjoyable environment.



Machinists have proven experience utilizing mills, lathes, drill presses, internal/external grinders, and surface grinders for cutting, grinding, pipe fitting, and general mechanics.



Job Responsibilities:

Complete repair and fabrication work based upon conceptual drawings or manufacturing prints, with tolerances of ? .001.

Perform bench assemblies using clamps and/or fixtures to avoid distortion.

Perform basic mechanical work in conjunction with special projects, including disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly of ride vehicles or components.

Perform complex measurements using precision tools and equipment, including advanced shop math calculations.

Regulate operation of both CNC and manual machines to accurately control the quality of fabricated metals.

Partner with Engineering team to improve operational reliability, safety, and serviceability for rides, shows, and facilities.

Assist in Central Shops department as needed to disassemble, retrofit, and/or install ride components in support of quality initiatives.


Job Requirements:


5 to 7 years previous experience with machine shop equipment.

Ability to work a flexible schedule to accommodate production timelines.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Knowledge of basic mechanical techniques (such as bolt grades, gasket preparation/installation, torque wrench readings).
