Job Title:Architectural Application Expert/BSD (Building Systems Division)

 Position Summary:

We are looking for individuals with strong communications skills who enjoy working directly with customers. The right person will have at least several years of Architectural, Structural, Construction Management or MEP (Mechanical / Electrical / Plumbing) industry experience with a technology based mind set and wants to work with numerous types of firms within the industry. Responsibilities: 

 

As an Avatech BSD Applications Expert you will consistently demonstrate your ability to deal with clients at a business-to-business level, identifying and providing solutions. You will be required to: Provide technology demonstrations, installations, training, on-site consultation, technical audits, needs assessment, and skills assessment. Develop strong interpersonal relationships internally with customers and technology suppliers. Work with Account Managers to evaluate client needs and recommend strategies to bring leading edge technology to the customer. Adhere to the company's business ethics ensuring Avatech maintains its respected image.

 

Requirements: 

 

The successful candidate must: (1) Have relevant industry experience and be capable of dealing at all levels in major corporate accounts, from executives to end users (2) have professional experience and proven ability to successfully apply industry technologies. (3) practice a ?solution? based approach to solving customer requirements (4) demonstrate excellent written and verbal/visual communication skills (5) be a problem solver with a ?get it done? attitude and strong self-motivational attributes (6) have high standards for themselves, their product, and their services (7) possess superior organizational/time management skills and a ?make it happen? attitude (8) thrive in a team atmosphere (9) and appreciate aggressive goals.

 

Product Experience: 

 

Although Avatech works with a number of technologies that impact the Building industry the Autodesk line of products are our primary focus. All candidates should have a great deal of experience in AutoCAD or alternative design technology. Any experience in Architectural Desktop, Autodesk Building Systems, Viz, Max or the Revit family of products will be a considerable advantage for the successful candidate.

 

Experience:

A minimum of 3 or more years of experience in an AutoCAD or equivalent based production environment. Knowledge of the MEP, Structural or Architecture industry will be a considerable advantage for the successful candidate.

 

Compensation:  Commensurate with experience.
