PROJECT ARCHITECT

Join a team of creative, dedicated professionals in a growing Salt Lake City based practice. 

We are seeking a licensed architect with proven ability to communicate verbally and graphically, and manage projects through design and construction.  Potential members of our team should:  Know how to work with people and be able to lead and organize a project team.  Have managerial skills necessary to ensure continued success of a small office.  Have experience forging long-term working relationships with new and existing clients.  Be able to successfully manage a small office.  The new project architect will take a major role in managing the work of large projects, coordinating consultant efforts, participating in and overseeing in-house production, and interacting with clients.  This 30 year old firm is based in Salt Lake City, Utah and has offices in Idaho and Southern Utah.  This employer will assist with relocation costs!!

 

This position requires a professional degree, five or more years full time, post-schooling experience, preferably as a licensed architect, ability to obtain a Utah license, and demonstrated knowledge and understanding of construction methodology, building technology, and architectural documentation and detailing.

Also needed are:  Excellent organizational skills, experience with various types of project types including academic and/or institutional projects, hospitality projects, and multi-family housing.  Understanding of building code requirements and technical specifications as well as an ability and personality to successfully supervise other employees.

Income should be in the $65,000 to $75,000 range with highly competitive benefits.
