Thank you for your interest in Toyota Motor Manufacturing North America (TMMNA). TMMNA is the headquarters for Toyota’s North American manufacturing operations, which includes 11 affiliates across the U.S., Canada and Mexico. Two new locations are currently under construction. Toyota North America manufactures the Avalon, Camry, Corolla, Sequoia, Sienna, Solara, Tundra and Tacoma pick-up and Lexus RX330. TMMNA provides centralized administrative and production support to the affiliates, each an independently run company. The headquarters was established in 1996 and has grown to over 1000 team members.The position is in the Plastics engineering area, responsibility includes but not limited to the followingsCreate process plans for Plastics Write equipment specifications Create bid packages Procure equipment Create & track schedules Monitor installation Confirm functionality Resolve vehicle quality concerns Supervise and coordinate contractors in field work environment Interface with contractors/skilled trades, affiliate companies, engineers and equipment manufacturers Make countermeasures for timely completion of project deadlines Multi-task across several simultaneous projects Provide updates/reports to upper management Instrument Panel processes
Bumper / Interior Garnish processes Plastics equipment procurement and adjustment
Automotive/automotive supplier experience
AutoCad / Catia KnowledgeCAE Capability
Injection Molding Process
Plastics Mold Design investigation capability
Basic Ergonomics knowledge
Knowledge of Electronic Measurement Technology (eg gauging, torque measurement)Microsoft Tools
Basic computer skills Establish tool cost reduction activity with suppliers



BS Mechanical Engineering/ Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent 

3-5 Years of Manufacturing experience and deep understanding of project Management

Excellent communication and organization skills required
