Product Development Manager - Top Production Homeb

The  Birmingham division of one of the nations top production homebuilders is in search of a Product Development Manager to join its growing team. The Product Development Manager oversees design, development and maintenance of floor plans for multiple product lines.  Position will require ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and coordinate with the “Product Development Team”, other departments and outside vendors.  Duties may include but not be limited to plan walks, quality control, budget and team management, research and analysis.

This role has a high level of visibility and responsibility with direct impact on the performance of the company.  Functions and responsibilities for this position will likely grow and expand based upon need.  The Product Development Manager will report to the VP of Purchasing & Product Development and supervise the Plan Design Coordinator(s).  Requires 2-3 years of production homebuilding experience.
