Heery International, Inc. has an immediate need for a Project Manager to work in Atlanta, Georgia managing building improvement projects. Projects range from $100K to $3M with 80% of the projects the candidate would oversee being heavy electrical infrastructure in nature. The remaining 20% of the projects are mechanical (HVAC and chiller systems). A degreed engineer is desired, preferably electrical. The PM position that we are filling typically will work with the client?s internal Facilities Department representatives developing engineering design requirements, reviewing engineering design drawings and specifications for applicability and working directly with electrical and mechanical contractors to install, test, and commission such. Therefore, a solid grasp of engineering principles (i.e. engineering degree) and related experience will allow the candidate to perform this job effectively.

This Project Manger will be required to lead the project initiation and planning efforts, monitor and manage project progress, insuring project is on schedule and within budget.  They will also manage the change control and issue resolution process, create weekly status reports for the client and conduct project turnover and closeout, solicit, evaluate and award design and construction contracts, as well as other required duties.
